William Hogg défendra le programme libéral postsecondaire dans Westmount-Ville-Marie

Sherbrooke (Université Bishop’s), le 1er octobre 2008. William Hogg, candidat libéral dans Compton-Stanstead, est fier de représenter non seulement Marc Garneau, candidat libéral dans Westmount-Ville-Marie, mais aussi le Parti libéral du Canada, lors d’un débat organisé par la Fédération canadienne des étudiants et étudiantes (FCEE) à l’université Concordia cet après midi.

« Marc Garneau m’a invité personnellement pour débattre devant les étudiants de l’université Concordia des enjeux postsecondaire. C’est un grand honneur pour moi de porter nos couleurs lors de cette confrontation. » affirme M. Hogg.

Le Parti libéral est le seul parti politique dans ces élections qui parle des vrais enjeux postsecondaires. « À part M. Layton du NPD, qui lance des promesses irréalistes sur l’éducation, nous sommes les seuls qui offrent des politiques concrètes à nos étudiants postsecondaires au Québec et au Canada. » lance M. Hogg.

Comme professeur d’études politique à l’université Bishop’s, M. Hogg a une expérience importante et pertinente dans le dossier. « J’ai hâte de faire face à nos opposants dans un domaine que je connais très bien » lance M. Hogg. « Les préoccupations de mes étudiants ont toujours été mes préoccupations, et je vais les amener au niveau de la politique active. »

William Hogg defends the Liberal Post-Secondary Education Platform in Westmount-Ville-Marie

Sherbrooke (Bishop’s University), October 1st, 2008. William Hogg, Liberal candidate in Compton-Stanstead, is proud to represent not only Marc Garneau, Liberal candidate in Westmount-Ville-Marie, but the Liberal Party of Canada, in a debate to be held this afternoon at Concordia University, organized by the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS).

“Marc Garneau invited me personally to debate post-secondary policy in front of the students of Concordia University” said Mr. Hogg “I am extremely proud to carry our colours during this confrontation.”

The Liberal Party is the only party that is speaking to the real post-secondary education issues during this campaign. “Besides Mr. Layton from the NDP, whose irresponsible promises are untenable, we are the only ones who offer a clear set of policy proposals to our post-secondary students in Quebec and across the country.” states Mr. Hogg.

As a professor of Political Studies at Bishop’s University, Mr. Hogg has the pertinent experience necessary to speak to this issue. “I am looking forward to debating our opponents on an issue that I know very well.” states Mr. Hogg “The concerns of my students have always been my concern, and I will be taking them with me into active politics.”
