Bellavance writes in La Presse this morning that sources say Harper will whip all his MPs against any eventual anti-abortion vote in the House.

This brings up two problems for the current government.

First, Harper might want to tell this to his MPs who are gung-ho on bringing an abortion debate, most-likely followed by legislation, into the House.

And second, I wonder what the whole con spin machine on whipped votes (on say the gun registry) would look like come that day of a vote on abortion.

Oh, yeah, and the whole shut the f--- up discussion seems appropriate here as well...
