Mise à jour II (18 janvier) So we see that indeed Stéphane was talking diplomatic intervention. And I wholeheartedly agree with the Pakistani response that anything else would have been irrational (see above). I also "facebooked" briefly with Denis Coderre, who was there in Quebec City with Dion, and confirmed that was the intention all along.
Still would like to see a clearer explanation for why this spun into a NATO war with Pakistan, but Canadians must be clear - that was and never will be Liberal policy.
